The Lions defense struggled in the opening quarter, giving up 42 points to the Jags. On the offensive end, quarterback Antoine Williamscompleted 9-of-21 passes for just 26 yards, including two interceptions. Running back Khalil Washington led the way for the Lions with 26 yards on the ground while wideout Markell Leeled the team with four catches for 18 yards.
On the defense end, Amari Taylor produced a team-high eight tackles in the loss. Defensive backTerry Smithgenerated an interception, including a 30-yard return.
